The original dagger from which this replica was modeled was extremely rare. Information on this dagger is almost equally rare. So far I have found that it was a special presentation dagger ordered into creation by Reichmarschall Hermann Goering and it had some connection to Industry or Industrial excellence. Authentic militaria from WWII is almost impossible to find, but for a collector
or reeneactor looking to add to his collection without breaking the bank, this dagger is perfect. The faux ivory handle looks almost identical
the original and the cast brass pommel and spread eagle guard with German
insignia give the dagger that authentic look. The 10 5/8" stainless steel blade
is cast with ornate details of scroll work down the blade and it conveniently
slides into the included brass sheath with coordinating scroll work. No expense was spared in the creation of this marvelous reproduction. Quality workmanship and parts, through and through.
